PLOT
Based on the 1960 U-2 incident during the Cold War, the film tells the story of lawyer James B. Donovan (Tom Hanks) who is entrusted with negotiating the release of Francis Gary Powers (Austin Stowell ), a pilot whose U-2 spy plane was shot down over the Soviet Union, in exchange for Rudolf Abel (Mark Rylance), a captive Soviet KGB spy held under the custody of the United States.

REVIEW
What a great legal historical political film! The film it's quite quiet, tense, with interesting story, great direction, very good visuals, script, storytelling and amazing cast. The biggest surprise for me was that the film is quite humorous. And the movie could go south many times but it didn't. Yey! No unnecessary drama and good guys vs bad guys judging. It's a real accomplishment and another outstanding work from Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Must see for sure! 5-/5
