Beautiful period piece!

PLOT
Irish-Canadian historical period drama based on Colm Tóibín's novel of the same name. Set in 1952, the film tells the story of a young Irish immigrant Eilis Lacey (Saoirse Ronan) in Brooklyn, where she quickly falls into a romance. When her past catches up with her, however, she must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within.

REVIEW
Another example that good movies still exists! The main contributor that this film is so great is without a doubt Saoirse Ronan. Just an outstanding performance from her! I can't stres enough how much I love this girl. The supporting cast is also really good and I like the storyline, the simplicity and the flow of the film. I love how the film transported me with the sets and the costumes. Just beautiful thoughtful well-made film. 5-/5
